Biowen Omega 3 Forte is a food supplement in capsules with fish oil from Peruvian anchovy in triglyceride (TG) form. The daily serving of 2 capsules provides 1000 mg EPA and 500 mg DHA plus 16 mg of vitamin E. DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and normal vision, and EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of DHA (brain, vision) or 250 mg of EPA and DHA (heart). Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. The oil has a low TOTOX value, and the dark glass jar protects it from light.

Ingredients

Fish oil from Peruvian anchovy (fish) standardised to 75% omega-3 fatty acids in triglyceride form (TG), vitamin E (D-alpha-tocopherol); capsule shell: bovine gelatine, glycerol (humectant), water.

Suggested use

The recommended serving is 2 capsules per day, preferably with a meal, taken with a sufficient amount of water. Omega-3 fatty acids are absorbed better together with the fats from a meal. Do not exceed the recommended daily serving.

If swallowing the capsule is difficult, it can be pierced and the oil squeezed out. The shell protects the oil from light and oxygen, so once the capsule is pierced, the oil should be taken right away.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. The product contains fish. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor or pharmacist before use. People who take anticoagulant medicines on a regular basis should consult their doctor before starting supplementation.
